Pastor Jared is a faithful Bible teacher who is gifted in the pulpit and genuinely cares for the people. Many places focus primarily on getting more people to come while sacrificing doctrinal teaching. At Lakeside Bible Church, that doesn't happen. There are real relationships and a focus on the gospel through verse-by-verse teaching. I recommend the church to everyone in and around Cornelius. One of the things I deeply appreciate about this church is its commitment to biblically sound theology. The teachings are firmly rooted in Scripture, not swayed by cultural trends or popular opinion. It's refreshing to be part of a community that holds fast to the core truths of the Christian faith, like the authority of the Bible, the deity of Christ, and salvation by grace through faith. The preaching is consistently expository, which means the pastor walks through books of the Bible line by line. This has deepened my understanding of Scripture in ways I never expected. Instead of hearing man centered advice, I’m fed God’s Word in its full context, which challenges and transforms my life week after week. In a time when many churches are reshaping their beliefs to align with societal norms, this church stands firm on biblical truth. It doesn’t shy away from difficult topics, yet it does so with grace and clarity. You won’t hear political rants or cultural commentary for its own sake just faithful, compassionate teaching that calls people to follow Christ regardless of the cultural cost. This is truly a family centered church. From Sunday school to youth group to adult small groups, there’s a place for everyone. My children are taught the Bible in age appropriate ways, and I’ve seen their faith grow. The church fosters real relationships, families worshiping, serving, and growing together. It feels like a spiritual home, not just a weekly event. The people here are genuine, no pretense, just grace. We’ve been welcomed, prayed for, and supported through tough times. It’s not perfect, but it’s a place where you can be real, grow in faith, and be part of a community that truly loves one another.
