What visitors say

Debra clapp is not a nice person she doesn’t even have manners and very disrespectful she shouldn’t be working at a church Beautiful church nice 11am service!! This is my sons parish that we attended when we visit his family. They are so welcoming. I especially love the projects they offer for adults (my son did a medical mission to Haiti twice) and the children (my Grands spent last Sunday building beds for children in the city who were sleeping on the floor). Faith in action! So they say they have a financial assistance program. So I call to get help with rent. I was told that they have a limit of $300. Also I would have to have the rest of my rent in order to get rental assistance. From what I can tell. They are not helping anyone. Because I'm sorry. But who has rent as low as $300? I was told by the lady on the phone " we are not trying to make your landlord rich"! As if making their pastor rich is a holy situation. Again I'm lost as to if they are really helping people with rent or are they just helping their members. Because again! What's $300 going to do and if I have to come up with the rest which could be $500-1200. Then I wouldn't be asking for help. Church of God and not too godly Wonderful people, wonderful music, and wonderful preaching. Strong youth and children's ministries. CUMC welcomes all, and as Jesus taught and lived, is seeking to love our neighbors and minister to others.
