What visitors say
Great worship music and great messages from each Pastor and speakers. It is my favorite church I’ve attended. I love this church, the people are friendly, warm hearted and most are Christ like. The Pastors/Ministers and their wives are very humble, kind, and compassionate. They study and teach sound doctrine and that’s what I need in my walk as as a follower of Christ. So thank you John and Arlene. I’ve never been to a church where there’s so much diversity, and so many young people motivated to be like Jesus in their careers! I spent some 1-on-1 time with Pastor John and he’s a super down-to-earth, loving and honest man. Over the 4 years I was in NYC, I made some awesome friends, all of which were from church and if it hadn’t been for my friends from church I would probably have been very lonely. But, thanks to God, most of all and to the Big Apple Church, I stayed very connected to a community that helped me through many seasons. I love the Big Apple Church! If you ever are seeking a community of believers in this beautiful city, you NEED to go here! I highly recommend it. In July, 2019 it will make 30 years that I've been worshipping with this church and I still learn something new, relevant, and challenging every sermon! This is a church of God. The word of God was spread to me through the scriptures. Disciples from the church helped me develop a love for the scriptures. I could not settle for less than the best for this church. We must rely of God, not church. Sometimes it helps to learn and pray with others.
