Elder Pat Bumgardner is a dynamic and gripping speaker, and her sermons reveal layers of practical and scholarlarly research to ponder and apply. This is the real deal. The music is out of this world! Love this church… it’s a place for all! Reverend Pat is amazing❣️ Worship the way God intended it to be, led by the humblest human being I have ever had the absolute honor of knowing. Rev Pat Bumgardner is truly Christlike. They really took care of me. They offered me Slyvia's place which gave food and shelter in my time of need. Ill never forget Pat Bumgardner, or Lucky Michael's, for all they offered me. This is a great place and again really helped me out. They not only offered shelter and food but also a helping hand. Clothes, job resources, and life guidance. They also paid to reunite me with my family. You really should meet Bumgardner, she is a cool gal. Metropolitan Community Church of New York has been my spiritual home since 1996. This church cares and also holds space for Sylvia's Place and the Sylvia Rivera Food Pantry, in honor of Sylvia. God is present and moves through our space and our programs.
