It's a nice service but its very average because there is not really a move of God, nor do you see the Holy Spirit encountering people (no tongues either). The pastors don't really hear from God themselves. They just use a scripture and then combine it with a story that they have been through. At the end, they have regular people praying for you but they are not anointed nor called to do that. Scripture (James) says if anyone is sick or needs prayer, let them call the Elders of the church and they will lay hands on you and you shall be made well. But there is no anointing, there's no power there. It's like the blind leading the blind. Renaissance Church is truly a special place! Lead Pastor Jordan and his wife Jessica are incredible people who lead with wisdom, compassion, and authenticity. Pastor Lester and the entire staff are absolute gems—so welcoming and dedicated to creating a loving and uplifting community. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and genuine care of everyone here. I highly encourage anyone looking for a church home to get involved, join a DNA group and find a way to serve. The sense of belonging and spiritual growth my husband and I experienced at Renaissance is something I will always cherish. This church is a blessing, and I’m so grateful to have been part of it! A gem in NYC! My family and I love this place. Renaissance is led by a fantastic pastor in Jordan Rice. My wife and I look forward to considering the wisdom he shares each week. Everyone is warm and welcoming, and the church makes a point of supporting the local community. Oh and the music is fantastic!!! Love it. Friendly and Helpful people. Made Me Feel Very welcomed Fantastic church. Feels like home, millennial age group, and a fresh presence of God. I love the messages brought forth and the pastor breaks it down in a way you understand. The church has events and resources to keep you plugged in. This is the best church I have visited in NYC and I may make it my home soon. Renaissance is a MUST VISIT CHURCH IN NYC!
