I’ve been attending The Journey for about a year and a half. I can genuinely say that Pastor Kerrick and the staff truly do their best to represent Jesus and teach His word. This is the most I’ve grown spiritually within a church. I have also dedicated my child to The Journey. If Jesus Christ is your Savior & you wanna serve him comfortably surrounded by a balanced mixture of brothers & sisters. Then I highly recommend The Journey. Young adults singing & praising from their hearts. When we lived in New York, we couldn’t find that connection and ended up traveling to NJ to attend Liquid Church, which became our home church. But now—my cousin, who lives in NY, finally found a place that feels like family. We visited Journey, and from day one, they went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. We even shared how far the trip was for us, and guess what? They surprised us with a MetroCard so we could come back and serve alongside our cousin. 🥹🙌 That’s the kind of love and intentional care that makes this church so special. 💒✨ If you’re looking for a church that feels like home—and people who feel like family—I highly recommend Journey Church NYC. ❤️ From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with open arms. It’s a place where you can grow in your faith and feel truly connected. Don’t just take my word for it—come and experience it for yourself! This is a special place. We visited on a vacation and found such a warm welcome! In a city where people don’t talk to strangers, The Journey Church stands out as a vibrant, Christ-centered, outward-focused community. The music is great, the preaching is great, and they have Starbucks for you. We enjoyed that so much! The best church in NYC hands down ~ HOLY SPIRIT FILLED ; TJC is all about GOD — sermons are Bible based using scripture (sound doctrine) including our professional breakfast (always inspirational leadership; men and women of God / authors like Henry & Richard Blackaby) , growth groups , servant evangelism groups, feeding the homeless, visiting prisons providing clothing..(Rikers Island), 🎶WORSHIP🎶, last but definitely not least BAPTISM & JOURNEY KIDS (what a delight) during each Sunday service you get to experience God in a way that will make you desire to come back again and again. Here at the Journey Church we are taught practical lessons to help us find grit/ passion in order to achieve all that God has planned for our lives !! You are not alone here, this church is a home away from home “ a place to be yourself (come as you are) and because of the welcome team ; you just know in your heart of hearts GOD IS HERE!!! Pastor Kerrick, his wife Lorie & their three children and staff are great examples of mini Christ, truly set apart, they make it their business to always be of good service to everyone who enters TJC!! I have been attending TJC since 2014 became a member in 2015 with a burning desire to continue to grow and be more like Christ I will continue to serve and join every way possible; gimper for God!! The Journey Church has a servant spirit and allows you to pick and choose this day which path you will take … TRUE “ CHRISTIANS! I pray to see God’s living WORD , GRACE, hope , love and forgiveness expand and reach the world via THE JOURNEY ~ PS. This is a praying Church, prayer meetings are on Wednesday’s at noon, Sunday morning before service and via email (our pastors are always ready and willing to pray) #INJESUSNAMEAMEN📖❤️🔥🎶🤲🏼🙌🏼🪽🔥🩸🎶😇🫶🏻☀️🎁💪😇 🌎
