Apparently, I'm the only Hispanic person visiting this church. I visited it the first two times this month, September 20-25, and I've experienced that all the members in the church reception area show very friendly . From the moment you walk in, they greet you with such sincerity and kindness, demonstrating the love of Christ in their lives. I'm as impressed as the second time I returned to visit. They all remembered my name and stopped to talk to me and greet me. They demonstrate empathy, love, and diplomacy with people. The first time, I was also able to chat for 15 minutes with a sister from the church. The coordination of the praises with the lyrics displayed on the screen is perfect. I really enjoyed my ongoing study of the Book of Acts. I hope it's the will of my Jesus that I've come here with some purpose that my God has in my life to serve and bless others. I’ve called this church home for many years, but as a newly nursing momma, I was so relieved to find out there’s a Nursing/Pumping room! I’m new to the newborn mom life and taking our little guy out of the house brought on a lot of anxiety (what if he cries, where will I change him, how will he do with the cover, etc.), but I was thrilled to know there was a room dedicated for me and my baby! There’s bouncers, a changing table, gliders, etc. Most importantly, there’s a TV, so you can still be a part of the service and not miss anything! It was such a relief! I cannot say enough good things about the church and all they do to take care of us and the community ❤️ My family and I recently moved here from Cali. We were used to contemporary Lutheran church and wanted to fd the same in the west side, we are so happy to find this very nice church of christ filled with young families and many kids which is what we were looking for. Our girls love the kids zone and their Sunday school teachers (the best)!. The pacstors sermons are fun fresh and educational we always leave feeling good after church the music is always very good. As well as the people that attend, they make it easy to feel like you belong.(the best part) . Absolutely LOVE this church!! I've been to a lot of churches, and I never felt welcome or nearly as amazing as I do when I go to BCC. My husband and I have been going here for years, and we highly suggest it to anyone who is looking for a warm, loving and welcoming church. This has been our family’s church home for almost 5 years. We love it so much! The kids program is phenomenal and everyone is so welcoming.
