What visitors say
The liturgy/service/mass is wonderful. The congregation and clergy are so welcoming. The music is outstanding. Come join us us on Sunday at 10:00 AM. Perhaps we can meet in person. This is a lovely church and the people seem great. Unfortunately they use incense at the main services (Sunday 10am). They call it 'hypoallergenic', it is so noxious and offensive that we developed sinus infections every time, my family could not continue to come. A couple of the older people I met said they've only been using it for a few years and they didn't in years past. When I mentioned it at the desk they suggested I try the noon service which is non traditional. We are only interested in the traditional service with the choir and the Eucharist. Unfortunate because this is the closest Episcopal Church to us. I cannot imagine anyone actually likes the incense. Bad aggressive energy from an older white male; just kept staring at me from across the Church street. He had on a purple shirt left the church around 3pm Sunday. I visited here just for the historical building, loved it, I know nothing about the church itself, but thinking of checking it out. I first attended the Cathedral when in Town for Easter Mass. The parishioners & clergy were friendly and welcoming. The mass was beautiful & thought provoking. I returned to see the new meditation garden. It is small but well thought out an beautiful. I particularly like that it is a public space and has a “holy water fountain”.
