Have been attending this church now for a year. They accept everyone and work with the homeless community. Everyone treats you like family the minute you walk in and Pastor Gini's message will leave you transformed! St. John's is a beautiful, historic church with modern, contemporary worship music and progressive theology. You will feel God in this place! As a millennial and an LGBTQ+ woman, it feels amazing to see myself represented so well by a congregation full of young people and LGBTQ+ people, as well as in our pastor, who is a vibrant and passionate social justice advocate and woman of God. I feel a deep connection here at St. John's, like I'm finally home. So thankful for this community. I can testify that when you hear/see St. John's church mention their "extravagant welcome for all," they mean it! This place is excuse my French is swinging the music swinging. The food and the ministry its self totally on key and open-minded to all. I attend and was baptized here at 56 years made me a happy and blessed man to be here. .bend your ear the minister I think she's Joan Collins sister incognito. If you need spiritual guidance and the Rev is busy seek out Mary she's talented and poetic. Steve he's a concierge dream. Come by and get a look at the band and choir they've put tears in my eyes everytime I've heard them. God has truly blessed St. John. Welcome 😉😊home. No matter where you are on Life's journey all are welcome here! Great Pastors. Wonderful open and affirming church! Contemporary service 11Am on Sundays. This church has wonderful concerts, fully welcomes LGBT people, and serves a free meal [on Wednesdays at 12:00 noon] to low-income and other people. Anyone is welcome here.
