New Albany Presbyterian church is a welcoming community that cares about each other. I have grown in my knowledge of the Bible and my faith in Jesus Christ since attending the women’s discipleship group and worship services. I love the home that I found in this church body 11 years ago. This church has been our church home for many years. We love the Bible-centered preaching and teaching, the warmth of being surrounded by brothers and sisters in Christ, and the welcome that is extended to everyone. Because of my job, I've moved quite a bit in the past 15 years. With each new city I canvassed 5 to 10 churches, sometime hitting the 9 at one church and the 11 at another. Didn't matter if it was Catholic, Baptist, Lutheran, etc. I was just looking for a pastor or priest that had something to say that could keep my interest without wondering off. The pastor at NAPC, David Milroy, is unequivocally the best. Want to go from "Do I have to go to Church" to "I can't wait to go to Church!" then this is where you want to be. I've been active at NAPC for 19 years now, and I can confidently say NAPC lives up to its mission statement: "NAPC exists to glorify God through lives changed by Jesus Christ." It's full of people who love the Lord and want to serve Him, serve sacrificially, get involved, and dive deep into their faith. Getting involved in the small groups are an amazing way to learn the Word of God together and form deep friendships with other families. Sunday messages are engaging, thought-provoking, and appropriately confront the things we deal with throughout the week. It's just a Christ-exalting place. I love this church! They faithfully preach the Gospel every week, and it's very Scripture based rather than a TED-talk style sermon. The community is also very welcoming.
