So greatly appreciate of this church! The love they pour out into the kids ministry is by far the greatest, and it’s their mission to prepare and invest in the next generation and you just see it when you come! Kids camp for my 8 year old just lights a fire in him and he loved every moment of it, bringing him everyday made me want to be a kid again due to the energy! Pastor Alex is so passionate and an incredible preacher! Yes it’s a large church but there is a group for everyone! I love the atmosphere and zero judgement just loving people loving God and his people! The only thing I would recommend is lowering the volume of music in the auditorium, it’s too loud for the space. I can’t sit close to the front or I feel vibration in my ears so bad that it hurts my ears. I know many who have left due to this and I’ve looked around at other churches and many comment on reviews due to the worship being too loud. Not all want to sit in the foyer or put ear plugs in to worship. It’s not a problem to just lower it a bit! We went Easter and this place is impressive! The music is like a concert, but is a little loud with some distortion on the mics. The musicians and singers are very talented and the songs were all contemporary. The Pastor gave an amazing sermon from a perspective that was most importantly to me, based on the Bible. He offered a concept that made you more aware of how wonderful our God is. We recently moved here and have been looking for a place to worship and Battlecreek Baptist Church may be our home! We will be back! When my daughter was 2 she was diagnosed with Autism and going to church has honestly been a struggle because she was having a hard time in kids church. When I heard about Battle Creek’s Haven program for special needs kids and adults we had to try it out. It’s been AMAZING for my daughter and she’s excited to come to church weekly. It allows us to serve and truly enjoy service again. There’s a plethora of other great things to share about BC but that program is special for my family. This church has changed my life in so many ways! The people are friendly and would do anything for anyone. Pastor Alex is an amazing pastor who teachers facts straight from the Bible. The campus pastors are amazing as well and the worship is my favorite! My son loves children's church and walks away every Sunday learning something new. The security is top notch and I’m confident knowing my son is safe while I’m in service. Love my church!!! What a wonderful place to fellowship with others while giving thanks and praise to God!!! If you need a place to call home, I invite you to join us. Pastor Alex and all of the staff are great!!!! It is the perfect place for imperfect people.
