I've never stepped foot in this church, but doesn't stop me from believing this is a really nice community to be a part of. 🫶 Thank you for all that you do. 🙏 First time visiting. I'm from out of town. Went with a friend. Very friendly! They focus on Christlike love for ALL! It was lovely! I'm a member of New Covenant Christian Church. I've been to a lot of Churches in a lot of different places and New Covenant Christian Church is the most genuinely welcoming Church I've ever been to. When you come in the doors, you won't be judged for what you believe or what you don't believe. You are simply welcomed into a community. In April of 2024, we voted unanimously to become an open and affirming Church. Our open and affirming statement: We are an OPEN AND AFFIRMING community. We acknowledge that the universal Church has not always been a safe place for ALL people. Hearing the call of Jesus to love God and love our neighbor, we welcome everyone into a safe and respectful faith community. We welcome you into full participation and leadership as we worship and serve God together. We welcome all people without regard to sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, mental or physical ability, socioeconomic status, marital standing, family structure or religious background. We invite you, whatever "you" looks like, on a journey together to better align our words and actions with Love. We believe this statement is what Church should look like and we are working to make that a reality. We believe in practicing social justice. We believe that is what Jesus modeled and taught us to do. Music is great. Message is great. Friendly people. Accepting of every person wherever you come from. Loving members and they're there for the community to get extra food when needed on Thursdays. I do plan to worship with them during Sunday service.
