I was denied entry due to being an addict. I was and had been sober when I went on Easter morning. The preacher came out and would not allow me to come in. From what I've understood Jesus didn't turn away the sinners. #HerSecretShame #domesticabuseawareness Thank you to ChristChurch Tulsa for not having my car towed yesterday. Lucifer is so busy trying to keep me from spreading my message and telling my story. My car stopped yesterday while I was driving. And where else do you go but to God when you need help? I came back this morning and, thankfully, my car was still here. But then I locked my keys in it when I got out to check the oil. 🤦🏽♀️ I will be coming to one of your services so that I can express my gratitude to you in person. I almost died over little things several times in my life. I've decided to live for the little things as well. It may only be parking lot to some...but this was my safe place. This brings me back memories... I was a member to this church with my family, I was a child to teenager when my family moved to a different church, we attended Christ Church for more than 10 years, this was way before the larger part of the building was built, at the time I attended there, it was just the orange part of the church and it said Christ Church at the top in white... The red house next door, that's where the previous pastor use to live, his name was pastor Fred and Cynthia Brown, I remember there was a wooded area next door of the church as well and when I was 14 or 15, we would cut down trees because pastor Fred Brown had a vision to build a building there connected to Christ Church to make it bigger and I just want to thank you for making that possible who ever continued pastor Fred Brown's legacy... Just so you know pastor Fred Brown passed away a couple of years ago, very sad but he's in Heaven and we will see him again... A lot of memories at this church... Loving the church and congregation. This church is so welcoming and thrives on a spirit of community. Father Everett Lee is fantastic as well as all of his support team. Services at 9 & 11 with children's church available. This is a wonderful church if you are looking right now. Everyone is treated like family, and it is a very great place to worship. Pastors Anthony and Linda Harper really make you feel welcomed. Great children's ministry and praise and worship as well. This will be my permanent place of worship.
