What visitors say

The church still preached that you have to be saved and the only way to be saved is by Jesus Christ. The people are really friendly, the pastors are also very friendly. I went last year (2nd time trying, first time didn't have pastor, so I thought I'd give it another shot). People not very friendly. Only a man and his wife spoke to me and she did contact me afterwards. Pastor wasn't very friendly when the lady introduced me to him. Tega Cay Baptist is grounded is scripture and prayer. They have a good mixture of contemporary music and hymns. The people truly care about your personal relationship with the Lord. I looooove the preaching of the Word. It's solid.(I am a Christian for many years). It's a family church. I was not invited by anyone but when I went there I felt at home Being new to the area I did not have to look for another church. The people are very welcoming. Pastor Vaughn is very engaging and personable.
