When I came to Concord, I quickly noticed the children ministries for all ages birth-5th grade offered on Sundays. I also noticed the beautiful mothering room for nursing moms. This church really loves families!!! Concord has been our home for the last 10 years! We have found lifelong friends here and have been loved SO well by all generations of men and women that attend church here. Concord is more than a place to come once a week to say “you went to church”. Concord Community is our family. People that we want to share our lives with (the good and the ugly). So thankful for this church family. Soon after my wife and I started attending here, my family went through some tough times with my Dad's decline and eventual passing due to dementia. That affects everyone, and is a lot to deal with. Though we were new and hadn't done much for anyone there, people loved on and supported us in so many real ways, from meals and emotional support to helping move in and out of memory care, near-constant check-ins and so much more. This is what it means to be the body of Christ. Beyond that, it has been wonderful to see and be a part of a church that is intent on serving the community OUTSIDE of the church walls - loving and serving people that will most likely never visit the building. Love first. Love Always. Love Everyone. It's not a trite or political phrase here, it truly is the mission and action of Concord Community Church. “Love first, love always and love everybody” & “I love you and there’s nothing you can do about it”... quotes from the pastor. Need a hug? Need somewhere you can be accepted as you are and encouraged? Come visit. We are knowing, loving, serving, reaching...come see us and learn more. First time visitor recently. Pastor Jeremy has a very welcoming demeanor, very humble. He was a trooper as the church family poked fun at the day being his 40th birthday. Worship was incredible! This church has an outstanding focus on missions and purposeful work in the world. If you live around Brentwood or Nolensville, I highly recommend Concord.
