What visitors say

Great church and leadership! I’ve known Pastor Pierre Cardenas since 2005 back when we used to attend Shoreline Church. He is a great leader and Pastor, God fearing person who is sensitive to God’s voice and calling. We used to attend a Spanish church and moved to Kingdom church about three years ago due to our kids not speaking Spanish. It’s been the best move for us as a family. We’ve enjoyed our time there and enjoy serving in the different area that we can! Couldn’t recommend this church more! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and it’s clear that the pastors and leaders genuinely care about the people who attend. From my very first visit at this church, I was treated with such kindness like I was a part of a family. One thing I appreciate most is that the messages are preached straight from the Bible. The teaching is clear, biblical, and always points people back to God’s Word. The youth program is also incredible!! The leaders truly invest in the kids, care about them personally, and create an environment where they can grow in their faith and build meaningful relationships with others their age. If you’re looking for a church that feels like family, teaches the truth of Scripture, and genuinely cares for people of all ages, I highly recommend Kingdom Christian Church. An amazing church that accepts all walks of life. As a past atheist this church changed me and supported my walk with Christ. Youth leadership is strong and driven by the Holy Spirit. I grew up in youth and would recommend any youth to come to Kingdom to learn about Christ. Id recommend this church to anyone who wants to sense the Holy Spirit & learn about who Jesus truly is. Amazing church! My wife and I are grateful for the good parts of our time at Kingdom Christian Church. We grew in our faith, built relationships, and I was baptized there. However, we recently left because of serious concerns with leadership. After we raised concerns involving youth leadership, we were not met with biblical care, humility, or accountability. We were met with accusations, personal attacks, intimidation, and harsh communication. In our experience, the way leadership speaks to congregants who question them is not biblical and borders on verbally abusive. Concerns are treated as rebellion or division, rather than something to be heard with patience and discernment. I believe many people in the congregation genuinely love Jesus, but based on how leadership handled this situation and how they spoke to us, we cannot recommend this church. My husband and I have been Christians our whole lives, but there was a long season where we were pretty lukewarm. We would occasionally attend church, pray before meals, and check the boxes, but we weren’t truly growing in our faith or developing the relationship with Jesus that we were missing. Over 2 years ago when we walked into Kingdom Christian Church, we knew something was different. The presence of the Holy Spirit is tangible here. The first time—and many times since—I walked through those doors, I got immediate goosebumps, and not because I was cold. The Lord is very evidently present in that place and in the hearts of the people there. What stood out first was the people. We’ve attended a lot of churches over the years, and sometimes it can feel surface-level or transactional. At Kingdom, we immediately felt genuinely loved and cared for by people who barely knew us. There was an authenticity that is hard to describe unless you’ve experienced it yourself. The messages consistently felt like God was speaking directly into our lives. The first service we attended was preached by Pastor Julissa, and what a powerful dynamic she and Pastor Pierre have. Julissa is unapologetically passionate about Jesus and has a way of challenging people to grow deeper in their faith while always pointing them back to God’s truth. Julissa brings a bold passion for God’s Word, while Pastor Pierre carries a wisdom, gentleness, and peace that comes from years of faithfully walking with the Lord. He leads with humility, listens well, and consistently points people back to Scripture. In a world where many leaders seek attention for themselves, Pierre’s heart is clearly focused on serving others and glorifying Christ. As we became more involved, we began serving in the youth ministry. What an incredible group of students and leaders. The youth team genuinely invests in these kids and helps them develop their own relationship with Christ. Pastor Devon has such a heart for the kids and a way of explaining things and relating to them that helps them truly understand rather than just go through the motions. She creates an environment where students feel welcomed, valued, safe, and challenged to grow in their faith. She has a unique ability to meet students where they are while always pointing them toward Jesus. And if you happen to catch her leading worship, wow. That voice is something special. Kingdom Christian Church has changed our lives. It has challenged us, encouraged us, and helped us grow closer to Jesus than we ever have before. We are deeply grateful for the pastors, leaders, volunteers, and church family who continually point people back to Christ. We have experienced leadership that genuinely loves people, teaches the Word faithfully, and points others toward Christ. We have consistently been met with encouragement, accountability, wisdom, and care, and we are grateful for the impact this church has had on our lives and our relationship with the Lord. Thank you, Jesus, for leading us here. May You continue to move through and bless this church so that even more people can come to know You and be welcomed into Your Kingdom.
