What visitors say
The service was good, the Bible study very interactive and engaging. I was a bit put off with the contemporary music aspect which actually caught me off guard for a church of Christ. That aside, this is an active congregation that is visible in the community. I will most likely return. I live nearby and have ongoing concerns about activity around this location. On multiple occasions, it’s been observed behavior in the parking lot that felt inappropriate and concerning, particularly involving interactions between adults and minors. This has made the area feel unsafe and uncomfortable. While I understand and appreciate efforts to provide food and support to those in need, there appears to be a lack of proper oversight and organization. After these events, trash and debris are frequently left behind in the surrounding streets, requiring repeated reports to the city to address cleanup. Additionally, the presence of parked buses and loitering in the area has contributed to ongoing disturbances, including suspected drug-related activity. Overall, there seems to be insufficient supervision and accountability for what is happening on and around the property. I hope leadership takes these concerns seriously and implements better management, security, and community responsibility moving forward. Been there a couple times, and usually I'm not picky for all the things been receiving for free, but rotten food...come on guys you never give something is rotten, with mold and not even ok to give to your dog, there we go 6 boxes of rotten strawberries going to trash. Impact and the Refuge are incredible blessings to the community which they serve. They look like Jesus to me! Really nice people very helpful. God Bless them all.
