Church of The Bay is a Super Wonderful Place to Bring your Family to Worship and to Fellowship. There's Also Children's Church for the little ones to Learn on their own Level. We are a Real Church for Real People. Looks like a nice church – and my friend from Galveston Island likes it very much. But I have been loving the sweet peacefulness of Galveston, and the drive up here on I-45 was a trip through hell. We could have made it to the church on time. But I decided to take me and my dog to some green area where we could do our worship through nature. Having gotten really clear with myself that I will not choose to make this drive on another Sunday, anybody I would meet there today would be someone I would never see again. Mother Nature I will be seeing on a daily basis. I will, in future weeks, keep my Sabbath sweet and simple and peaceful on Galveston Island – or maybe the wonderful Bolivar Peninsula. I wish all good things for the sweet people of the Church of the Bay. Have a good Sunday – just leave me out of it. I wasn’t raised in church and never felt comfortable enough to call the church my home..I’ve tried many in the community and never felt welcome or would end up leaving feeling like I would be damned to hell. COTB just gets it and REALLY IS a Real Church for Real People !!! They welcomed me with open arms met me where I was and allowed me to find comfort in a word that stays focused on god’s purpose for us in our lives. I’ve been attending for about four years and a member of the dream team worship service for about a year. So thankful and blessed to finally find My Home!! Pastor Dru and Jackie Johnson thank you for obeying god and being a blessing in our community! I felt welcome as a visitor so I came back. Church of The Bay is fun and informative! Pastor Dru preaches and teaches while being insprational to people in a non-judgmental way! The services aren't so long that you want to leave early. You may nake a Sunday Brunch. I visited several times and the other 5 churches that I 'd visited just weren't Church Of The Bay... so now I'm a member! Absolutely life changing and wholesome. Real people from all ethnicities worshipping together. Never been to a church more authentic than this. Highly recommended for families, Spiritual growth, and BIblically based education. ❤️❤️❤️
