I started watching this church online during COVID and this year I finally came in person. Easter Sunday was my first and I’ve been coming back ever since. I didn’t plan to get this involved at first but I saw that they needed some help with the worship team and I reached out. Fast forward to today and I’ve found my home. The worship team is killing it every Sunday. The lights and AV are looking great. And the sermons are deep and meaningful. I am fairly skeptical in my faith and the people here have accepted me and we’ve had some great discussion. Pastor Nate is a great guy. He’s fun and charismatic, but he’s clearly highly educated and his heart is in the right place. I really appreciate that Nate spends time in academics and isn’t afraid to tackle difficult subjects on Sundays. They also have a great security team and they run background checks on all children’s ministry staff. This is definitely a small community church but in my humble opinion, that’s how it should be. I love it here. I wholeheartedly recommend Corner Canyon Church, Pastor Nate Taylor, and the church family to anyone searching for a good Bible-based Christian church with excellent teaching and learning opportunities. I prefer a Pastor be equipped with extensive Theology education tools for teaching God's word. (I also prefer a doctor with a medical degree.) **I have listed Pastor Nate's Education and Degree's at bottom of this review. From the moment I stepped into the historic, red brick building, I felt a strong sense of belonging. Pastor Nate's sermons are truly inspiring and I found myself hungry to learn more. The congregation and leaders are defined by love, faith, and a solid foundation, which brought me to a profound sense of peace. As a Christian minority born and raised in Utah, my journey has been centered on finding a good Bible-teaching Christian church. Unfortunately, the search was often confusing and overwhelming. Having attended CCC for many years now, I can confidently attest that Pastor Nate possesses a remarkable gift for teaching the Bible. He has successfully reached numerous individuals, young and old seeking good Bible teaching. If you are Not seeking God's truth in the Bible, you may not like Corner Canyon Church. I pray for those who are bitter and vailed, to embrace God's powerful love. Amen. Education: Bachelor of Bible and Theology from Biola University. Master of Divinity from Westminster Seminary California. Master of Philosophy of Religion and Ethics from Talbot School of Theology. Languages and Study: Koine Greek and Biblical Hebrew The community at this church is amazing, small churches struggle to hold communities together at times and I think this church has gone through many trials and tribulations but one thing I appreciate is Gods will to grow this church and grow a healthy and beautiful community of awesome people. I’ve never felt more at home. You get lost in mega churches but here at Corner Canyon you feel apart of it. I’ve made some of the best connections and friends here and that has allowed me to grow to change as a Christian. The pastor here is especially awesome, he tries so hard to care for people here as well as connect with them. I’ve never met a pastor who has the ability to have as much care and concern for his congregation in my life. This is seriously the best church I’ve ever been to. I’ve never been to a more welcoming and kind environment like Corner Canyon Church. The Pastor is just as amazing now as he was in the past. The church in all honesty has gotten better. Pastor Nate is really good at answering your questions about the Bible. My husband and I started attending this Church in 2020 after moving to the area. The Pastor and his family are kind, caring and loving to the congregation. The teaching on Sunday morning is solid - never veering from Biblical truth. The Church also provides additional Biblical studies outside of Sunday morning service which provides an opportunity for spiritual growth and fellowship. Overall, we love the Church because the Pastor is genuine, the teaching is sound, and the congregation has many kind people. We are glad we found CCC and are very happy here.
