Wonderful services - join them for vespers or liturgy of presancitifed (if it’s lent). As a Ukrainian Greek Catholic, I really enjoy praying with a sister church of the Eastern Catholic tradition. Totally recommend the church and the community The Middle Eastern Food Festival 2024 did not disappoint. So many baklava choices!😋 The kitchen runs like a well-oiled machine. My family looks forward to this festival every Labor Day weekend. A huge thank you to the hardworking congregation who put in countless hours to make this beloved tradition a success.🙏 We visited for Palm Sunday from North Carolina. Absolutely breathtaking liturgy, vibrant and jubilant community! A true witness to the Christian faith from every aspect, communicating God’s love and desire for relationship through architecture, interpersonal relationships, respectful for liturgical emphasis, and more. This church is Catholic, in that, it is in Union with the Bishop of Rome but expresses itself using the Eastern Byzantine Rite and Eastern cultural motifs. This community will welcome you regardless of who you are! Come as you are and you will leave as someone else. It's a beautiful parish and vibrant community. I was there for a few times and they were very open and friendly. Love the singing. I first visited Holy Transfiguration three years ago for the Middle Eastern Food Festival on Labor Day from a coworker's invite. I was totally blown away!!! Visited on and off for about two years before deciding I couldn't resist any longer and to join the Melkite Greek Catholic Church. This is my favorite parish ever - amazing liturgy, sermons, pursuit of holiness, and community. There is a relic of the True Cross in the parish!!!
