Good church with solid biblical teaching. Taekwondo classes at the church on Sunday and Tuesday for ages 5 and up. 5-7 year olds class is 6:00 to 6:30 pm. 8 and up is 6:30 to 7:00 pm. My husband and I moved to Estrella Mountain Ranch 2.5 years ago and wanted to find our hone church. We were looking for biblically based teaching, an intimate environment where we could connect and form relationships with others and get involved. Our 1st church we visited was Estrella Mountain Church (EMC) and we never looked at another church. We have made some amazing friends and feel that we are apart of a church community family. My husband recently lost his nephew unexpectedly and the entire church prayed for us and our family, reached out to us, loved on us, it was something we had never experienced before. We have seen the church circle around and love on everyone at this church. So if you are new and looking for a church that is biblically based and lives our Christ's definition of what a church should be, then I would recommend checking out EMC! A wonderful experience... the people are authentically seeking Christ and show so much kindness. The pastoral staff are wise & compassionate. The worship is fun and thoughtful. I love the sermons that are a great mix of history, theology, thought provoking. These people really join together in difficult times and take care of each other. I see a lot of grace here. Enjoyed the smaller church feel... the music was great, and service was decent. Pastor seems friendly. However, it was absolutely freezing (air conditioning) and very hard to stay focused because of it. For communion, slightly concerned with everyone breaking off the same bread loaf and dipping into the same "wine" because of Covid being out there. I took communion, but my boyfriend did not which was a shame. We were looking for a bible-based, loving church and found Estrella Mountain Church on a google search. We listened to a couple of the sermons on their website and liked that they were bible based and practical for everyday living. We attended the church for the first time last Sunday. It was a casual and very friendly environment, the music was inspirational and the Pastor's message was "spot-on". We look forward to our next opportunity to attend.
