A larger church, they have fun things for the kids, ex: a water park and blow ups most Sundays. Water park is available to public every day but Friday, thats only for the school that day. The people at Cross are all so friendly and welcoming! My daughter has been attending the Christian Academy located here for over a year. They do not press the religious aspects nearly as hard as other places. Depending on your religious views, this could be good or bad. But, their socialization and education services are spectacular with fantastic staff. My spouse and I have attended several times now. Initially, the music was incredibly loud, uncomfortable loud but they have a new song worship leader and the loudness is significantly better. When we Initially started Pastor Jackie was there , now it's Pastor Andy. Their preaching is spot on, Biblically sound. I do feel like we have found our home church now. We have listened to other local churches but have found Cross Church to be much like what we were accustomed to from our church back East. We use to go to Palmcroft Church but we now live in Surprise and it is a bit of a drive now. We moved from Phx to Prescott then back down to the Valley and now reside in Surprise. I truly believe Cross Church is a really good place to be....try it out. I have been a member of Cross Church for 19 years and have served under 3 pastors. When I left Rhode Island my husband and I prayed to find a church that was close to home. Ironically Cross Church has the same address as my church in Rhode Island and is only 1 block from my home in Surprise. That was an answer to prayer. I go to worship and praise the goodness of God and how he has blessed my life. Since my husband passed away, the pastors and congregation have been so good to me and my family. All glory goes to God, our father. We stumbled onto this church while visiting my parents here in Surprise. Visiting from OH. What a great church!! The worship team, worship leader, the pastor, the biblical teaching, the programs. All are top notch. 5/5 highly recommend! I can't wait to come back.
