Pastoral care is phenomenal. This church exudes theological seriousness, gospel-saturation, and an unparalleled hospitality. As a fellow pastor and minister, I would highly recommend any person to belong and commit to this church 中華歸主柏克萊教會(CFC Berkeley) is an incredible church that truly embodies the love of Christ. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with warmth and kindness. The sermons are deeply rooted in biblical teachings, offering spiritual nourishment and practical life applications. The worship services beautifully blend contemporary and traditional elements, creating an atmosphere of reverence and celebration. The music is uplifting, and the worship team leads the congregation in heartfelt praise. The church’s commitment to its core values—Serve humbly, Walk faithfully, Act lovingly, Trust wholeheartedly—is evident in every aspect of its ministry. Numerous opportunities to get involved, from small group studies to impactful outreach programs, allow the congregation to serve others with humility and love. The children’s and youth ministries provide a safe and nurturing environment for young people to grow in their faith, with dedicated co-workers ensuring every child feels valued and loved. Overall, this church is a beacon of light in our community. It’s a place where faith is deepened, friendships are forged, and lives are transformed by the grace of God. I, as a member of the church since 2017, highly recommend it to anyone seeking a gospel-centered place of worship. My spiritual journey and family life began here in Berkeley. I came to this city 10 years ago as a single man with very little understanding of God. Today, I am blessed with a wonderful family, including two children. Though we have faced many challenges, God’s love has been revealed to us time and time again, especially through the support of sisters and brothers at our church. I hope my experience can inspire those seeking spiritual growth, God’s love, and the willingness to serve Him. His love is ever-present, and we are never alone on this path. A gospel-centered church serving the Berkeley community and UCB students for over 70 years. A community I find value to serve since pandemic. Free lunch and dinner are served every Sunday, rain or shine. Food is basic, but how important is that if you are offered the Bread of Life? A Christ-centered church seeking the word of God with a godly congregation making an impact in the Chinese community. It is such a blessing for me to have found this church.
