It's sad that I have to leave status on a church. I had sat on the church steps praying and looking for answers. Several members of the church just stopped in the driveway of the church and stared at me. Not one time did these members. That's really said, even when they looked at me for a long period of time before they drove off. It's sad especially that I am a female and still no help. And the church has a big sign that reads " All is welcome ", I don't think so. Is it because the color of my skin that not one person came to see about me? I'm not orginally from here (California), in Texas its does not matter what color your skin is, a real church with real church people is going to assist with what they can. Well the church crucified Jesus and he was made perfect. That was a mouthful there. Shame on you Bethel Assembly of God, shame on you. And people wonder why there are a lot of people that does not respect church folks. I'm not one of them, I was raised in the church, just haven't found a church home yet. God is good and I pray that there are some good holsome church folks at Bethel. What a powerful message from sis Vi this morning! Praise God!👏👏👏 Very welcoming church "come as you are".Pastor Ben Cabitac is very clear with his sermon about God's salvation through Jesus Christ. I had the privilege of attending Bethel Assembly of God and it was truly a refreshing and meaningful experience. The worship service was powerful—not driven by hype or entertainment, and not overly loud—but a genuine, heartfelt expression of praise and glorifying God. What stood out to me most is the simplicity of the church. It’s a small, closely knit community that feels very intimate, yet it does not compromise on truth. There is something beautiful about how pure and focused the atmosphere is—it really helps you grow deeper in your faith in Christ. My wife and I were invited by Vilma and Daniel, and we are so grateful we came. If you’re looking for a church that values authenticity, strong biblical foundation, and a welcoming community, I highly recommend this church. I'm Salvadoran and I came to the church without anyone's recommendation. I attended Bethel in El Salvador and I felt like I was part of a family. The Sunday sermon is in English, but they provide a translator, and it's very welcoming to be in this group.
