If you’re looking for a church you can call home, this is the one. Since my wife and I’s first visit on Sunday, January 7, 2024, this church became home to us. Not only we were welcomed with open arms, taken in, loved, but also the way we experienced the presence of God and have continued to do so since that day. I give glory to the Lord for how he drew us to this church. And I’m thankful to be a part of a church that teaches true biblical principles, SEEKS the face of the Lord and is led by the Spirit of God. We have grown in this community in the past 2 years, attended Bible school for 2 years, become servants of the Lord ministering in multiple different ministries by the grace of God. Not to mention the care of this congregation for this city. The church is operating MULTIPLE different ministries daily. Monday’s men’s group, Tuesday’s rehabilitation and recovery meetings and prayers, Wednesday’s midweek prayer and intercession service, Thursday’s young adult meetings, Friday’s youth service, Saturday’s feeding and evangelizing to the homeless of the greater Los Angeles and Sunday 2 services, adding to it MULTIPLE home groups on each day of the week, adding to it elderly home visitation ministry which takes place Monday through Saturday, going to 8 different elderly homes. God is moving in our midst and is moving through this church. Come, taste and see that the Lord is good. Me and my family have been coming to this church for the past 6 months, and from the very first service we attended, we truly felt God’s presence. From the pastor’s messages to the worship team, everything is filled with love, encouragement, and the presence of the Holy Spirit. The members of the church are so welcoming and kind, and we love that they offer different services and programs for all ages throughout the week. It has truly been such a blessing finding a church community where we feel spiritually uplifted, supported, and at home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a church family! This is an excellent church located in the heart of Glendale. It is a suitable place to join the family of God, worship Him, hear from Him, and serve Him. It offers various ministries for women, men, young adults, teenagers, and children. There are also numerous home groups, prayer groups, as well as ministries focused on prophecy and healing, along with many other services. Additionally, the church has a great school called LASSM through which you will grow in the Lord, discover your calling, and put it into practice. COME AND BE BLESSED 😊 I have been a believer for about 17 years, and during that time I attended two different churches. Even while I was attending those churches, I always knew about this church and would visit whenever I had the opportunity, whether it was for a service, conference, or special gathering. From the very beginning, there was always something different I could feel. This is truly a Spirit filled church where you encounter God’s presence from the moment you walk in. There is a deep sense of peace, love, and warmth, and you immediately feel welcomed. It does not feel like a place you just attend. It feels like a true family. The church is deeply focused on God and His Word. The teachings are strong, clear, and life transforming if you are truly seeking to grow. This is a place of true discipleship where you are encouraged to walk closely with God and grow deeper in your faith. Pastor Ruben is a true servant, humble, caring, and anointed. You can see his heart for people in the way he leads and supports the church. The pastor and members are always available, praying for one another and supporting each other in every area of life, including education, personal growth, and spiritual needs. They offer both Armenian and English services, with translators available, which makes it very welcoming for everyone. There are also many ministries for every age and stage, including women, men, young adults, teenagers, and children. The church has home groups, prayer groups, and ministries that focus on prophecy, healing, and deeper spiritual growth. Their Sunday school is excellent, with a strong curriculum that helps children grow in faith from a young age. You can see the care and intention behind it. They also have a school called LASSM, where people can grow deeper in the Lord and discover their calling. I personally have not attended yet because I have two young children, but I truly cannot wait for the opportunity to go. I already feel such a strong desire and hunger to attend because I know it will help me grow deeper, be transformed, and be empowered in a new way. If you are looking to grow spiritually, learn the Bible, be part of a true family, and build a close relationship with God, I truly recommend this church. If you want to go even deeper in your walk, I also highly recommend attending their school. Great church, IF you are Armenian. If you are not Armenian, the congregation can be a little hostile, disrespectful and very difficult to build God rutted friendships with as well. The English services are done mostly by the pastor’s wife, who bless her heart, doesn’t speak English. Therefore the sermons are done in Armenian, then translated to English. Which can be frustrating if you don’t speak Armenian. And I understand the church is in Glendale… but Glendale is still in the U.S. , so a little more awareness, love and respect toward other cultures would speak volumes of their “love for Christ”.
