This Sunday, I was blessed to worship at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church in Glendale (1020 N. Brand Blvd, Glendale, CA 91202). The morning sunlight poured gently through the stained glass, painting the sanctuary in hues of gold and rose. The choir lifted their voices in a harmony that felt angelic, drawing every heart into the presence of the Holy. There’s something profoundly sacred about Saint Mark’s — a sense that generations of prayer still linger in the walls, that faith has been spoken and sung here long before us. Saint Mark, the Evangelist, reminds us that the Gospel is not just a story to be read, but a calling to be lived — to proclaim hope, to serve with love, and to move with urgency toward what is good and true. My prayer this Sunday is for clarity and courage — that the Holy One would reveal truth where confusion reigns, and light where shadows still linger. I pray for all who labor quietly for justice, for those who refuse to hate even when hated, and for every soul longing to be seen and loved as they are. Especially, I lift up the LGBTQ+ community — may Gods protection and peace surround them always, and may every heart learn to see Their divine image in one another. Great, Welcoming Entrance. Beautiful Historical Building.on brand Blvd. I’ve been thinking going to this church for long time finally one day I was passing by I entered. There’s a little sign says come in light a candle have peace. That was very touching. The architecture is amazing high ceilings and amazing decorations. Very active with weekly programs. The style looks more like Scandinavian style but I’ve seen few pictures with Armenian writings which made me more welcomed. Great church to have in Glendale. I like this church so much it makes me feel in peace that's why I always visit it Fantastic church that is friendly and open to anyone without being too pushy. Beautiful and reverent Sunday services and many many opportunities to be involved in the community! Super creepy joker-looking, greasy haired guy clinging to the property who likes to hover and essentially promote negative energies if you're parked outside. I wouldn't go inside if they keep something like that around, and allow it to feel the way it's showing itself off to be.
