What visitors say
A small but genuine community. Their services are unlike any other church I’ve been to before. They have live music every Sunday and pick out different talented musicians to play. And afterwords provide food and everybody gets together to talk in the fellowship hall. The people here genuinely care about connection. Which is what I like the most about this place. If you’re looking for a church that focuses on community, the people here are great and peaceful. And they genuinely care about what they teach during the sermons too. Glendale Church of the Brethren is a wonderful neighborhood church. Their Service on Sunday's at 10:45 a.m. is diverse and open to every ethnicity. It is a Church of the Brethren based traditional Christian service in English, uplifting and positive and what I love is that the pastor will read scripture, but then show you how it applies to today's world. I've learned service, and how to be kinder, loving and more "present". You are greeted warmly and if you get there by 9:30, you are welcomed and fed an amazing home cooked breakfast with hot coffee, waffles, bacon, etc. and then after church there is another meal. Lots of Fellowship and warmth and FOOD. A unique place in Los Angeles where people feel united in brotherhood caring and loving each other. They are open to public for fellowship , no charge breakfast every Sunday at 9 am when people meet for sharing their love for God and each other. An inviting artistic environment is welcoming the group of Christian brothers and sisters.Strangers always welcome, let's GIVE the PEACE and heart goodness celebrating life.. Great place to worship
