For over 20 years I've called TGP a "Gideon's army Church"... Leaders and Core are a wonderful group of Mature believers. Services are led by the Holy Spirit, with meaningful worship, anointed sharing of the WORD, a healthy integration of the Prophetic, faith for His Healing... TGP has an emphasis on powerful Intercession (for the city of LA & our nation)! Pastors Rick and Pam truly care about their people & can also pastor the mature in Christ so well! (So rare/hard to find.) I love this Community of /in Christ! As a relatively new convert, I was on the lookout for a welcoming space. I'm coming out of a long relationship with another faith and lost a lot of my old innocence. I'd worshipped the old beasts, electrical rats, sexy bunnies, Professors. But I was left with an emptiness. No matter how much energy I accumulated, how much I evolved, I still felt the emptiness. But at The Gathering Place, I learned about Magic. While I'd previously walked the plains, I could now overcome my summoning sickness and tap that thang. No longer was I a follower of the sparky rodent, I now had ... aura. Great Pastors, leadership & fellowship with like-minded believers !!! You are getting fed the meat of the word ...such a safe place with rock solid teaching from the true word of God ! TGP is the real deal , Generals of intercession reside here so much love also 🩷 and because of that, THE HOLY SPIRIT moves powerfully 🩷 The Lord is at The Gathering Place! I received the Baptism of The Holy Spirit with the gift of speaking in tongues there. Pastors Jim and Pam are such wonderful servants of God. They yield to the flow of the Holy Spirit and teach His word soundly. If I hadn't moved to Arizona I would still be there. :) God bless TGP! The clear world of God and what God is doing in the world today....a amazing mixing of the truth of the word and power and gifts of the spirit! Wonderful place where Kingdom reigns. Highly recommend!
