What visitors say
What's not to say...I've been here for decades...Dave's biblical -book by book- teachings are great. The good and the "hard to hear" commentary..."the feel good" and the convicting. Strictly bible based teaching; the teaching that encourages YOU to read your bible. The worship is top notch...understated. It's about the Lord...not them...spirit led. Always feel welcomed...Nancy is so warm and friendly at the door...Mike (usher) and others are great. Special events are the norm...outreaches...volunteering too....and the coffee is good and hot! Two thumbs way up 👍👍 If you're looking for a church to tell you the Truth, teach you, challenge you in your walk, and hold you accountable, this is your church. I came several years ago for the men's morning study, and found a congregation of men with decades of service and endless knowledge of the Bible and of God. Then there's the lead pastor David, you won't find a more sound teacher. Through the Bible from a historical, and personal perspective from a lifetime of devotion to ministry of others. There are many sound churches in Orange County, but this one stands out. Eric, Jim, Jerry, and Ken are some of the pastors and retired pastors available at every service. I'm now on the other side of the continent, but feel this needed to be posted to help direct anyone searching for a church. Was invited for their Easter service. Very well organized, welcoming, immaculate and has a very relaxed vibe. I want to go here but haven't I live right inside gate 3 about two blocks away. I'm sure it's awesome inside. I’ve never been there in person to Pacific Hills in South Orange County. However, I do like listening to Dave Rolf, the senior pastor, as his Bible teaching style is very unique. Dave is a brilliant man and has a very interesting take on so many scripture passages. I think he’s probably getting ready to retire, so he’s not teaching every week, unfortunately. He follows in the footsteps of our spiritual father, Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel, Costa Mesa. Dave also is still on K wave radio 107.9 FM.
