For anyone wanting to learn about Jesus this is a great place to start. Pastor Henry delivers the word verse by verse and delivers a great and powerful sermon all biblically based not opinionated straight from the book with love. If you don't believe me go see for yourself. We came here for the Wednesday 630 service i am familiar with calvary chapel, i have been listening to there radio broadcast since pastor chuck, and i continue listening with pastor laurie, , i heard a sermon with pastor henry and it was very good, we decided to come check out the church, pastor henry didnt speak but we got a great message with i believe a guest speaker playing a Shepard who walked us thru the birth and the day our lord sacrificed himself for our sins , he was excellent! The church was silent he had us feeling like we were in Jerusalem and.Bethlehem 5 star rating alone! We well be back for another Wednesday service it fits our work schedules, cant wait to hear more , I recommend Calvary Chapel Beaumont to anyone who is in need of a home based Church come as you are All is welcome. Ever since this church was started in Beaumont, I'd drive by on Sunday's and saw the parking lot very full. I thought "this must be a good church." Years later I attended a service, and found that this church is 98% of what I had been looking for in a church. The people are friendly but not overly. The Worship part is just right. It isn't so long you don't enjoy participating. The Pastor is pretty good. He keeps himself with you and not above or better than you. His sermons are put in terms you can understand. He takes you verse by verse through the Bible and breaks it down to how it pertains to us in today's world. I'm glad I went. New to the church (4 weeks) & my husband & I are praying about making CCB our new home church after just moving into Beaumont & we are loving the idea of it being our home church. We had the bar super high after moving 2 hours away from our home church where my husband attended for over 12 years & I attended over 6 years. Pastor Henry shares the word directly from the Bible & teaches it without bending the truth. That’s the most important part to us. He also encourages the congregation to bring your Bible, read & study the Bible for themselves, or request a free Bible from the church, & not to take what he’s saying blindly. We appreciate that he explains the word and its realistic application. He lays out main points of the sermon & points out main topics for note takers. His sermons are clear, organized, & flow well. It’s a plus that he has a great sense of humor & makes us laugh. He definitely has all the components of a great pastor. The church has an abundance of ways to stay connected to God everyday of the week with opportunities to fellowship with others & study the Bible. Everyone has been welcoming & friendly. I can’t say enough good things about pastor Henry and CCB church. My husband & I are intending to find a small group and get connected in more ways. I encourage anyone looking for a place to learn, worship, and grow to visit CCB.
