I would not recommend this church, or their future school/daycare to anyone. The Pastor recently closed down the current school to children and staff in the middle of a school year, with 3 weeks or less notice. They originally lied, stating "health and safety" reasons due to covid, despite the CDC recommending that kids go back to school because they were safe spaces. Then they let parents and staff in on the real reason, MONEY! Their next plan is to make it a daycare. Some of the teachers have worked there for over 20 years and are being let go with 3 weeks notice, no severance, and told they can apply if there are positions available. Its insane that you would have a teacher committed to the community's children for 20+ years and to throw that all away for money. Its heart breaking to watch my child cry about losing the one thing that has been consistent throughout the pandemic. It's almost impossible to believe a Christian church would treat children, families and staff in this regard. 10/10 would not recommend this church or the new daycare to anyone So sad to have to write this. I attended this church on occasion and sent my children to their preschool but the administrative leaders in the form of the minister of the church and the church’s board are Godless people. As a Christian, I do not write this easily of anyone who seems to be doing God’s work. But, the church’s leaders have been planning for over a year to close the school but did not inform the staff, parents or congregation. Two weeks before they decided to close, when they had done all their planning, they decided to tell everyone. They made up a story that it was due to Covid and then later admitted it was a long time in the planning. The loyal staff were not given adequate time to prepare their families for this loss of income. The loyal parents, parishioners were not even given an audience. When staff and parents asked to speak with leadership they were denied. No true Christian would do this, much less without even offering an audience to the offended parties. Don’t go to this church, don’t send your kids to this school. This church is posing as Christian but is actually run by the Lost and do not seek to live their lives and run their church and businesses the pure Christian way. Would not recommend this church, or their future school/daycare to anyone. The Pastor and church board is abruptly closing down the current school to children and beloved staff in the middle of a school year, with 3 weeks notice. They originally blatantly lied and claimed it was due to "health and safety" regarding covid, but after being met with questions and anger, they let parents and staff in on the real reason: money. They plan to "restructure" to make it a daycare. AKA charging more and hiring less qualified staff to work for cheaper. Some of the teachers have worked there for over 20 years and are being let go with 3 weeks notice, and told "they can apply if there are positions available." Children who have already had so much of their lives disrupted by a pandemic, are being taken out of their routine and away from friends and loving teachers, so that the board has "more time to organize," according to an email sent to parents. I cannot believe that a church would treat children, families and staff this way, and wonder what experience you could possibly get out of a church who's leaders are so obviously heartless. Very beautiful and welcoming church and congregation. Church is beautiful, great pastor and great people!
