I’ve never attended a church more loving, welcoming, and committed to community than Paradox. I love raising my kids in this church, and I feel safe in this community as a queer woman. I have really enjoyed reading and learning about each and every book of the Bible over the last decade. We always have interesting discussions about the sermon after church. I can say this church consistently challenges me to be a better, more loving person. Paradox has been a refreshing and healing church experience for my husband and I after our journey through religious deconstruction. They follow through on their belief statements about supporting LGBTQ+ rights, women’s empowerment, and anti-racism. The sermons are centered around becoming a more loving person and the core belief that it is good to be alive. For anyone looking for something different from the mainstream, we could not recommend Paradox enough! I have never attended a church like this before. They focus on being a more loving person and accept everyone for who they are. I love this place and call it my spiritual home. The people are warm and friendly and the music is amazing! Saturday service for post modern Christian. Very scholarly discussion of biblical teaching. Provided good food for thought without any pressure to comply with a specific view. The pastor stayed after the service and interacted with many people. A friend invited me and I plan to return. Coffee and donuts at the door, nice welcome. Greeters made me feel welcome too... When you stop by tell them Joe sent you...they will say Joe Who...that's me. This place was friendly, atmospheric, and makes you feel at home with it's service. I must let you know, they don't follow EVERYTHING in the Bible strictly, they believe that it is unhealthy because it separates communities. They are open to people of all kinds.
