One thing that has really bothered me about this church is the constant filming and photographing during worship. Worship should be a safe and private moment between people and God, not content for social media. Many people do not want to be recorded, and no one signs photo release forms before attending service. Honestly, this is one of the main reasons I hesitate to walk to the altar when Pastor Art gives the altar call. I don’t want to end up posted on Instagram or social media (Posts, reels, or stories) later that night during one of the most vulnerable moments of my life. Tonight was especially disturbing. Their Instagram is filled with videos and pictures of people who are clearly going through difficult situations, praying, crying, and broken and yet the cameras continue rolling. It feels invasive and disrespectful to people who simply came to worship and seek God in peace. There needs to be more respect for privacy during worship services. Not every moment needs to be turned into online content. I also believe this could eventually become a legal and ethical concern. Many people attending church are in vulnerable emotional states, seeking prayer, healing, or support during difficult seasons of life. Filming and posting those moments online without clear consent can feel deeply invasive. Not everyone wants their worship, tears, altar call, or personal struggles displayed on social media. Some people attend church specifically looking for a safe place away from public exposure. At the very least, there should be more transparency, respect for privacy, and an option for people who do not wish to be recorded. People come to church for healing, prayer, and peace not to become content for social media. Worship should never feel like a production set. Privacy, dignity, and respect for vulnerable moments should come before cameras and online engagement. Who okay’ed this ? Do better ! This is best church I have been going to.The pastor Art Reyes is amazing,i went other churches before but I couldnt understand Bible that well ,I feel the Holy Spirt with us when I going there .Its really a big church ,offer a lot of events and concerts, I have been going over two years and I really enjoy it.I always recommend it to my customers and friends.And I am study Spanish now. Calvary church, Downey, This is a health issue. I know the community gives back at food banks, but this is ridiculous. This is an expired one month old tilapia, and it was sitting in the heat. Giving away free at a food bank you need to do better. Very unorganized food bank drive that’s three days of the week Monday, Wednesday and Friday instead, demanding signatures to see who’s gonna pick up food that was a new one telling us if we don’t sign this, they will not donate food anymore. Your food is so expired. You could poison someone at this point , we had staff yelling at us being rude the entire time on your church property that says a lot about your atmosphere and how you treat the community. Thank you pastor Jeff me and my wife love this church! Prior to coming here we couldn’t fine a church to call our home we struggled for so long until my cousin invited me here, I’ve never felt so welcomed I love this church so much praise Jesus! The attitude displayed by some students reflects a sense of superiority and blatant disregard for others. Their behavior is marked by arrogance, disrespect, and a complete lack of teamwork or unity. Instead of fostering a supportive learning environment, these students engage in mocking, ridiculing, and verbally abusing others, often in a hostile and insolent manner. Such conduct is unacceptable in an educational setting and seriously undermines the values of respect, discipline, and cooperation that a school should uphold. Immediate attention and corrective action are necessary to address this issue.
