Visited from out of town. Appreciated the warm welcome from many in the congregation. Pastor Cochran preached in a very approachable way and spoke truth from God’s word. Thank you for a great service. They go thru the Bible line by line and verse by verse. When you come, you are welcomed and you see that the setting is very simple, no laser shows here. Pastor Andrew teaches the Word in a manner that is easy to understand, often humourous and definitely full of love for Jesus. If you have a problem understanding a precept, he is available to talk to you one on one and point you to where in the Bible it states that precept. Great place!! Pastor Andrew and all the brothers and sisters in this church are warm inviting genuine and compassionate. The teaching of the Bible is informative, deep and leads everyone to the cross of Jesus Christ. This is an awesome church! My First time here was around the Christmas Holidays. The Pastor said for everyone that was new and there first time we have a Red Poinsettia for you. So after the service I went up on the stage to get one. It was the last one. Some lady was rude telling me U was going to get that one. I let her know it was my first time there. She did not get care and she even said she had been going there for awhile. If you were not married you could not do anything like be on the prayer team, be a usher, greeter. I was told by 2 people this is a married couples church and once a family invited me over to there home for Christmas. Couple of months later I was approached by a member asking me about it and I said yes I did go to there home. He flat out told me this is a married couples church and you need to hang out with single people. I finally left and attended a Calvary Church in Huntington Beach where I served as a usher and attended a home bible stay class and was the only single person and I was welcome. Unless things have changed there I was not recommend this church if you are single. I have learned so much here! Sunday mornings through the New Testament one verse at a time. And Wednesday evening, through the Old Testament, one verse at a time. Before Pastor Roger went home to the Lord, and now Pastor Andrew, taking care of the sheep.
