What visitors say
Good gift shop within the San Juan Mission site. Has a lot of religious items like crosses, crucifixes, icons, rosary, Christian themed home decor and stationary items. Also sells some more general touristy items like snacks, locally made food items, and general souvenirs (shot glass, magnets, postcards, etc). Reasonable prices and a lot of options. Friendly staff members Such a historic place! I came here a couple times as a kid for field trips, but this was my first time visiting as an adult and I'm so glad I did! It's a lot bigger than I remembered, though it's not quite as big as, say, the Santa Barbara mission. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area--loads of history and cool architecture and scenery to take in. Lots of goodies in the gift shop as well. this place is a hidden gem. we went looking for the gift shop and decided to pay to enter the mission and it was beautiful, It was like walking into the past. So many items, and lots that are actually relevant to the mission / state / religion. You can enter the store without admission to the mission itself. Interesting history! Enjoyed touring the old mission as well as the Basilica.
