This is a GREAT church for people to hear the good news and messages of Jesus!!! The Pastor Michael Yearley is so incredibly caring and loving with his attendees... and has a beautiful way of explaining Christianity and what is required of a true servant of God. The location and the church itself are beautiful too... but that is not the reason for going there... it's the community!!! The people who attend this church are the BEST people!!! They have both Saturday evening services and two Sunday morning services. Coffee, tea, water donuts and bananas are made available for attendees. Come by... join the community of people who are committed to Jesus!!! Come meet the pastor who makes himself available... along with so many other resources to those who need it. I myself was Baptized on 2/21/26 #MakeHeavenCrowded 🙌🕊🩸✝️🙏❤️🥹 My father passed away recently, and our family asked to hold his funeral at this church — the church his family has attended for generations. We've tithed for years, paid preschool tuition here, and have personal relationships with the executive pastors. The financial administrative assistant refused us. We weren't "members." Then we mentioned we'd be making a donation. The refusal vanished immediately, and suddenly she was happy to help. That's the whole story. Our family's decades of faithfulness meant nothing, but a check changed everything in a single conversation. We had to buy compassion from a church, during the worst week of our lives. The funeral will happen, and I'm glad my father will be honored where he belongs. But if you're considering this church for your family — especially for the moments when you'll be at your most vulnerable — know how we were treated when we came to their door in grief. I worked very hard to find a church that truly felt like home. I previously was a Catholic, but after having many questions about my faith, I stepped away and began reading the Bible daily for myself. I visited several churches in my area, but I never felt completely at home or as though I was clearly understanding the messages. That changed when I walked into Rocky Peak. Pastor Michael and the other pastors and speakers deliver messages that are clear, educational, and easy to understand. Each sermon has helped me grow deeper in my faith, better understand the Bible, and strengthen my relationship with God. The music is also beautiful. The musicians are talented, experienced, and you can tell they play from the heart. What I appreciate most is that the worship is not overly flashy, too loud, or in your face. The volume and lighting feel just right. The music, visuals, and overall atmosphere blend together beautifully, creating a peaceful, calming, and at home feeling that allows you to focus on worship and the message. The church is located in a beautiful area overlooking the valley, and the property is always clean and well maintained. The staff and volunteers are friendly, welcoming, and willing to listen. Before each service, they offer coffee and donuts, along with healthier options such as bananas and fruit bars. Donations are accepted, but there is never any pressure. Each service includes a helpful pamphlet that allows you to follow along, take notes, learn about upcoming events, and request prayer. After the sermon, there are also frequently people available to pray with you. I especially appreciate how everything at Rocky Peak remains focused on God, the truth of His Word, and how to build and continue a genuine relationship with Him. I recently began serving at the church and immediately felt welcomed, encouraged, and supported. The sermons are also available online, making it easy to watch and follow along when you cannot attend in person. I love everything about this church. After searching for so long, I feel incredibly blessed and excited to have finally found my church home. God has truly blessed this church abundantly! The Word of God is preached boldly and faithfully—never sugar-coated—yet always without condemnation or judgment. In every service, Jesus is the only name exalted, and I love how the pastors consistently call Him “King Jesus”—a practice I’ve now adopted in my own prayers. The pastors are humble, knowledgeable, and their genuine love for God and the church shines through in both their preaching and the programs they lead. The RPK children’s ministry has been such a blessing for my sons—well-organized, thoughtful, and Christ-centered. Since we joined in February 2025, I’ve noticed a refreshing focus here: no Easter egg hunts, no man-made traditions, no compromise, no wokeness—just pure biblical truth in the worship, teaching, and programs. They even host kids’ camps, and I can only hope one day they’ll open a school as well. Rocky Peak also offers so much for spiritual growth—apologetics seminars, encounter worship nights, singles services, and more. The Life Groups are wonderful, and the weekly study guides are a great tool for going deeper into the Word. This is truly a church for everyone. If you want to grow in your faith, be encouraged in your walk with God, and experience a community where Jesus is at the center, Rocky Peak is home! Mike Yearly is the real deal, he seems to be extremely down to earth, a genuine human being with a gift for sharing God’s Word. He’s factual, interesting & his presentation is direct & relates to today. (I’m able to retain the message applying it to my week! which is huge for me.. 😉lol) It doesn’t hurt that the church is in one of the Valley’s highest areas where one can sit & read or chat at any of several tables & chairs set up in front of the chapel & take in the breathtaking views of the entire Valley & more. My husband & I have been attending Rocky Peak almost 3 years on & off now & we love going!
