I've attended Boulder Valley for a year now. My wife and I found it pretty easy to get involved in areas of interest and giftedness. The leadership is extremely personable, thoughtful, and intentional. We have felt free to be who we are (which, sadly I can't say at some other churches in the area we have attended). And, at the time of this review, there's a vibrancy to the church; it is growing. I haven't been this excited about my involvement in a local church in years. When we were new to the area, we found BVCC welcoming, young and old. (I’m 76) teaching is Bible based while relevant to most ages. The teaching pastors often touch my heart. They’re all dynamic speakers. The music brings the house down but ear plugs are available. Spirit filled sanctuary! Ive never been a religious person, in fact I’ve been extremely anti-religious for my entire life. I’m 34 years old and it’s only been this last year that I’ve been willing to explore Christianity. This church has allowed me to safely explore something that I’ve resented for so many years. The leadership is incredible and also so open to learning and growing. More inclusive, less exclusive as so many churches can be. Thank you Boulder Valley for fostering such a great place for a guy who believed in God but thought all religion was a scam. Thank you for taking the time to teach me and explain all the many questions I still have. Thank you for being so patient with me, and showing no judgement toward me or my initial attitude toward Christianity. I grew up outside of Boston going to Catholic Church as a kid and after high school, really stepped away from religion. Now that my wife and I have a young daughter, we wanted to instill in her the values, faith and sense of community that come from Church, however, we didn't want the experience we grew up with. At BVCC, we found exactly what we were looking for. A Christian Church with a relaxed and welcoming environment, a well spoken leadership team, incredible music and the sense of community that after a year, now feels like home. If you're new to the area, exploring your faith or looking to make a change, we'll see you on Sunday!! Boulder Valley Christian church has become our temporary church home while on vacation from Florida to Colorado. Worship is awesome, preaching right on point. To God Be the Glory.
