Vanessa and I have been at Bldg 28 for six years now. I Pastored In four different churches in the past and have also been part of large, great churches. I’ve never seen a church more healthy than Bldg 28. Not only is the preaching excellent with great theology and the worship time is awesome, The people at Bldg 28 cover all the age ranges, with lots of young families. They look out for the needs of everyone in the church, including in times of crisis.Everyone is loving, transparent, and they love God and they love theology. It’s an amazing work of God! This is the best church I have attended in a long time. Pastor Chad takes time and preaches the truth so we can understand Scripture better. BLDG28 takes time to get to know you not like other churches and their congregations. They look at you as a person not a number. I don’t know why but Building 28 has and always will have a special place in my heart. Yet it has been overrun by politics, hatred for God, and judgement, and also witchcraft. Also I don’t like the way they changed the decor when Pastor Aaron left. Or the fact that they got rid of the young adult group that was amazing a few years back when I was younger. But Pastor Chad seems awesome and he seems like a great person to lead the church. Everyone else pretty much is questionable. Pastor Don and Pastor Jonathan. Eh. God bless everyone though. We all need more of Jesus. I new to the church and been going for a few weeks now, but the service this past Sunday 9/14 bothered me. It wasnt so much the service itself but rather one of the pastor doing prayer reading. He made it all about praying for Charlie Kirk and I get that his death and the way it happened is a huge talk but isnt a church suppose to be a place about belief and separate from politics. I like Kirk and his stance but instead of just praying for him why wouldn't the pastor also say something about the kids who lost their lives the same day? For this reason alone it bothers me that they would only recognize kirk’s family but not the families of the kids who died. Just visited for the first time today....Very nice church with friendly people and the Pastor is a very eloquent speaker who keeps things interesting and he seems to have a really good sense of humor. It also doesn't hurt that he is easy on the eyes lol.
