What visitors say
I remember the first time I walked through the doors, from the moment I arrived, I felt the presence of God. Everyone was welcoming, genuine, and inviting. Eight years later, that feeling remains the same. There is a sweet presence of God here, and it truly feels like home. There is no place I would rather be. I have built lifelong friendships and experienced tremendous spiritual growth in this wonderful church. The pastor and his wife are truly exceptional people whose love, leadership, and dedication are a blessing to so many. I am deeply humbled and grateful that God led my family and me here. This church has been an incredible part of our journey, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to grow in faith and be part of a loving church family. I attended this church for over 3 years and initially loved the music and energy, but over time my experience changed. I began to feel that acceptance depended on conforming to leadership rules, giving money through tithes, and giving money for special leadership lavish gifts, overworking in ministry, and never questioning anything or showing tiredness. While volunteering in a particular ministry, everything felt last minute and if it didn't fit my schedule then I was told I was not being flexible enough. When I decided to stop volunteering in that ministry, it was demanded that I have a meeting to get permission to stop volunteering. When I started setting healthy boundaries and asking questions, it felt I was labeled as having a “rebellious spirit” and it felt I was treated as if I was "backsliding". If I missed one service, I received texts from leadership and other nosey folks asking why I was not there. The preaching often felt aggressive with yelling and felt very repetitive, and services seemed very production-driven with a strong focus on emotional reactions manipulated by music. My kids and I also experienced judgment and elitism, where it felt like certain families or people in the “inner circle” were treated very differently, like royalty. I felt judged constantly, whether it was something I was wearing, something I was doing or not doing, something my kids were doing or not doing, or when I'd speak up, etc. What troubled me most was seeing leadership living very lavish lifestyles while some members, including myself, were struggling financially to support the family. I appreciate transparency with where tithes are allocated but I never seen this once while attending/giving here. Unfortunately, I never felt the genuine love, support, or healthy community that a church environment should provide. My experience here was disappointing, hurtful, and ultimately led me to leave. I went to the rock for the first time these past Sunday with my 11-year-old daughter who almost lost her life last week. No doubt about it she was saved by our Lord Jesus Christ. I had so many proof of it. At the church, I had an experience like no other, kids running happily, the beautiful choir, making everybody jump and down in absolute joy, and the pastor was something else! I’m going back and then back and then back some more. I’m going to get baptized in this church and will baptize my daughter. The energy at this holy place is extraordinary. The people are beyond friendly and welcoming. A life changing experience! Such an amazing church. This has been my church for the last 6 years. I moved across the country and found a place that I know I could truly call home. So thankful for the Godly atmosphere and love that is in this place. Raising a family here is such a blessing, knowing my children will be surrounded by good Godly people is a huge deal. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a home church for you and/or your family. This is the place to come and be apart! What a church. TRC is truly a blessing and I thank God for the Bishop and the members. When I first came to the church in 2020. My mother and I were in a dark place. Our family had been trying to survive the devastating murder of my brother so we moved from Broward county to Lee County. God brought me to TRC using a instagram reel of the choir singing and I had ran to so my mom. She saw her coworker up in the choir and said that’s the church my coworker told me about. We immediately loved the church in our first visit. people tend to go to church to meet their own expectations or experience. But when I tell you that the spirit of the Lord is in this church I mean it. My story and testimony is long for this section. But I would compel anyone to visit just once and leave your expectations and what you think church should be and come with an open heart and trust me you will see God move like never before. Come experience the difference.
