What visitors say
I found my second home! The people here made me and my boys feel so welcomed. I have a son who has autism and they understand his needs. Not only that but my children are young kids and they loved them as their own.”, I could feel it. I love how all the kids from toddlers to teen age look so united. I’ve only had two visits and knew this would be my church from the first visit. I was even looking for the right church not only for me but also for children. I thank God for directing me to this one. Thank you to Pastor Jim, the worship team, and the congregation at City Church Savannah. We had a great time of worship and the message on Discipline and Gossip in the church reminded and sobered us on how God expects his church to handle these matters. We are very appreciative of our time at City Church. It was a highlight of our time visiting beautiful Savannah! Warm, wonderful people. Bible-based, honest teaching. Pastor Jim brings the word in all its weight. There is a well staffed childcare center, as well. No feeling of being pressured at all, just welcome there. Good free lattes and coffee. Music is current, very relevant, but excessively loud... But they do have earplugs for those who need them. Great church, I mean like really great church. We were just visiting the area but we went twice and I’ll always have a place in my heart for this body. We are church planters by happen stance, we’ve seen healthy church and non healthy church, this one was solid. The spirit was alive, solid teaching, and it truly felt like a welcoming family. I’ll always pray for the health and grounding for this church and it’s leadership. I can’t recommend it enough. The service is always spirit filled and backed by scripture and the volunteers are warm and welcoming. Thousands of lives in the community are being touched and they also support local missions who are making an impact for Jesus. The worship is contemporary and the message challenges you in your faith and walk with the lord. Great place!
