Fantastic biblical teachings with a welcoming congregation that provides fellowship and learning opportunities. I have been to many Churches that never felt like home. After our first visit at Woodstock Church of Christ our family knew we were HOME! Not only do they teach God's pure word they never stray from that and still teach hard truth when others try to deceive or present the teaching in a pretty package or entertain you. Our family is beyond blessed to have found Woodstock Church of Christ! I highly encourage anyone who is seeking the Lord's word or anyone who has been tricked by other congregation and teaching to come and check out Woodstock Church of Christ but be warned you will never feel the same and your life will be changed (for the better)! God Bless i have read the reviews on this church and the bad ones are lies from the devil him self.This have been a good church for me and my family. i haven’t been there long, but i can see why the devil want this church to look bad they do god work there. so i say see for your self and make your own decisions like i did but if you want the church to make you feel good about your sins and leave for there would and not god you might not not like it because the speak for god not the world when i 1st walked in there i was like um there is a lot of white people her i was going walk right back out but the people there was a very welcoming. i don’t go every sunday because it’s an hour drive for me and gas prices are high but i am looking to move closer for i can be there more and more. Many of the 1 star reviews are a result of an article that came out in April of 2021, where a member of the Church left her husband to be with another woman. The Church sent her a letter asking her to reconsider, but was brought under fire when that letter was made public by the woman in question and the local MSM. This is a wonderful place that has fallen victim to "Cancel Culture" for practicing what they preach. God bless and keep up the good work Church of Christ at Woodstock! Came to Woodstock last October out of a really bad experience. This is truly a Family of believers trying to help one another get to heaven. The church has a wonderful group of elders and the preacher is truly book, chapter, and verse, but makes sure everyone understands the every day applications of whatever the lesson in our daily lives. There has been an emphasis since we have been there on teaching the lost in the way New Testament did in the first century. If you are looking for a church to call home, COME TEST IT FOR YOURSELF.
