This congregation is my “family.” I like the Sunday morning service, but the Wednesday evening service is so much more thought- provoking. Pastor Hal and his wife are definitely anointed, as well as are a number of others who are part of the leadership. You won’t be disappointed. Good church, runs about 300 on a Sunday morning. Contemporary worship band, good Biblical preaching. Like many churches, emphasis on favorites & family of husband, wife, 2.5 kids, not much available for singles besides small groups everyone is encouraged to be active in. But diverse congregation (age, financial, ethnic, background) is strong point. Not too suburban snobby considering location. All in all a good place. I have only followed their podcasts, but the words from Pastor Hal have been very challenging. I like what he had to say on prayer to begin the year about 5 points about praying it forward: 1) Prayer it forward to daily prayer in a secret place, spending quality time with the Lord 2) Fasting and Prayer. Jesus said when you fast; he expected it to be a regular part of prayer life 3) Group Prayer, power of agreement 4) All Church Prayer, a House of Prayer 5) Have faith and expect prayers to be answered. Attended for 8+ years. Great preaching and a loving compassionate, anointed staff. A very missions minded church both foreign, local and home missions. Enjoy the Holy Spirit. Jesus is present. You will be rejuvenated. Thank Pastor Half and worship team. I love you all.
