My family has been members here since the 1970's. Their is a real family vibe. The services are thought provoking and inclusive of all who come. Reverend Beth and all the members there treat you like family. Every service is uplifting and wonderful and spiritual. When my family and I went through extremely hard times, they were there to help us out with understanding and kindness and support to get back on track mentally and emotionally. They are like our family. I was visiting this church out of curiosity. What a wonderful and diverse group of people. I felt very comfortable. The only thing that didn't appeal to me (and this is personal preference) is the use of older traditional hymns and songs. The music in general was very slow and old school. The people were very friendly and covered a vast range of ages and social backgrounds. Like most Unitarian Churches they are non denominational and use the basic tenants of Christianity, Judaism and Buddhist traditions but are open to teachings of all faiths that teach the common ideas of love and Divinity. This church community is very positive and has great potential if they move forward in a more contemporary fashion. This is a very lovely church! We are so blessed to have the opportunity to use it as our Christmas Piano Recital venue. Inclusive, thoughtful and welcoming. Have attended since 1987 and through 3 ministers still find it an inspiring community.
