Attended a funeral here. Nice space and friendly community, but the pastor was atrocious and borderline disrespectful in his attempts to co-opt and almost sabotage the whole service. After beautiful heartfelt words from friends and family, this guy goes up there and starts babbling about camping and how annoying sleeping in tents is. His tone was irreverent and flippant, and his message was all about how we don't need to worry about death "stinking" because believers get a new better body in heaven. Well the deceased fought really hard to keep her body, and wanted it to have children and dance, here, on earth. But I guess that fight and those dreams and that loss just doesn't matter and that's why you should join this church, so you can not care about life either. Terrible. Solid preaching and friendly folks. I just didn't go back because the music is really loud and mixed poorly. I just didn't want to experience that every week. It was also kinda hard to watch the worship team because the lead female singer looked like she just rolled out of bed...dirty looking wrinkled jeans...shirt half in and out...etc. This was not a deal breaker but she was pretty distracting by her appearance and type of movement so I just tried to focus on the music. But it was very strident sounding so it was a challenge. I moved in the area and was looking for a local church that I could attend. I'm not very religious and just wanted a church that could fill my spiritual cup and was good with community outreach. They truly care about their community and it shows through their many programs and WOW, does this church deliver on its community service. I absolutely love going into a church where everyone is on their feet and singing. The music is very moving. The ladies have all been very welcoming to me. Quick story: I recently had to drop some things off at the church for a little surprise for our ladies get togethers on Wednesdays. I had an armful of bags and things and every single young man standing in the doorway asked me to stop and just direct them where I wanted things to go. I didn't even have to ask! I can tell you as an artist, I usually have an armful of things to bring places, not once has a young man or woman asked if they could help me. Here these kids were bending over backwards to help me and I was so tired after running around shopping. Great job Moms and Dads for raising a great group of young kids. You give me hope for our world! The best church around. The people are friendly and provide a welcoming atmosphere for both new comers and members. They preach Biblical truth and have the mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ one home at a time and to point each other to Christ Jesus! Praise the Lord for this Church! It's an actual Bible preaching non-denominational church! The staff go above and beyond in helping the community and their own parish members. All the Pastors are completely and totally lead by the Spirit of the living God and it is completely evident to anyone, even non-believers, to see!
