I didn’t feel truly at home my freshman year at Purdue (2016) until I found this church. And after I graduated I chose to stay in the area largely because I couldn’t imagine leaving these wonderful people. This church is not flashy and shiny like you’ll find at other churches. The worship is not a concert with fancy lights and props. But the faith here is genuine. They focus on the Gospel, loving God with all their hearts, and your neighbor as yourself. There have been ups and downs recently but the leaders take every chance to listen to every person who comes to them with a problem and makes effort to sit with you and talk through whatever may be on your heart. A few verses that come to my mind when I think of describing this church are Ephesians 2:8-10 and 1 Timothy 1:5 (please do look those up it helps add to my review (: ) If you love God and want to be around people who believe in loving God, loving others, and following the teachings of Jesus, give Grace Church a try! Being new to purdue this church really helped me stay focused and aligned with God. Everyone here has been kind and loving and is close in community with each other. I'm glad I found Grace! Love this church! Laidback, comfortable, and they teach Biblical truth and believe in the gospel. They also serve free coffee which is a plus! Grateful for the caring people and loving attitude. So many people with servant hearts! As an international student I felt very welcome at this church. People are friendly and commited to serve God and serve people with the best that they can. Best church I have been in America! I became a Christian while attending this church and have received much love and support over the years as a member of the church. I feel welcomed into this family of believers.
