What visitors say

The folks were very friendly, and I'm all for a good praise band & contemporary services, however it was more like attending a rock concert. It was way too loud and between that, the darkened sanctuary, flashing lights, and the almost smokey effect, I had a horrible headache even before the praise & worship service was over, and as a result, we left. As I said, I love praise music, but this was much too loud and concert-ish. Awesome church....all ages attend. From shorts & tees to suits & ties. Modern live Christian music. Huge tv screens. Free coffee. Feels like home. No judgment zone. Was baptized shortly after attending. Daughter in law baptized there. Sermons r heart feeled and I always learn something and take with me to get back on focus. Truly a church that invites you in with open arms and means it. I love my church!!!! Don’t be shy and give it a try. I bet you love it too!!! Most amazing church I’ve been too of all my life. The focus in straight from the breath of God, not an opinion based. The music is like going to a worship concert that connects my spirit to the Holy Spirit and fills my soul with peace. Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! ... John 4:23 ESV Love love love my church! Pastor Dave is so humble and nurturing! The youth pastor teaches by example. Look up the story on WLFI about the pizza delivery woman who got a very large tip. This is what we do. Pay it forward with no expectations of return. Every person who walks in those doors is immediately family. My wife and I started attending Northview in 2009 when it was still in the warehouse in West Lafayette. NVGL has helped us in our spiritual journey with sermons, worship, & life groups. The people @ NVGL are some of the most friendly folks we have ever encountered!! I ❤ My Church!!
