What visitors say
Been here twice now and this is "church". No fancy lighting, smoke, graphics, etc. Simple worship with a keyboard and guitar. Not loud and it is a joy to hear others sing! And people actually bring paper Bibles! No graphics during the message not even the passage being taught from, thus the need for a bible! Very nice place to worship and grow in your faith. Went there for a men's conference. Beautiful facility Pastor Jim Stewart is a great Pastor. Who genuinely loves people. Met some of the members there. They were nothing but kind and gracious. My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting this church while on vacation in the KC area recently. The message was straight out of the bible. We literally worked through the first chapter in the book of Micah. The Pastor did a great job explaining the scripture and how we can relate it to our times. The worship music was rocking and I felt at home. Thank you Calvary Chapel KC! I’ve been attending Calvary Chapel KC for around 5 years now. I can’t ask for a better church. Everyone there is so friendly and inviting. Pastor Jim has a true passion for teaching the bible the way it should be. The evidence is in his verse by verse, book by book style of teaching with no spin or play on God’s word. Their radio station (107.9 The Fountain) reaches throughout the KC area with great music as well as teachings from Pastor Jim and other Calvary Chapel pastors from around the country. The Children’s Ministry rocks!! Great teachers, nursery caretakers and a live music worship team just for the kids. You can’t beat that! Just here for a men's conference, but was very blessed, Pastor Jim was a great host.
