What visitors say
Returning to Kansas City after years away we sought God’s leading to a church home. He graciously led us to Christ Community Leawood where we have been loved, taught with excellence and helped to become more like Jesus. I love the balance of ages and stages of life of the congregants. The worship is excellent and the preaching and teaching is of highest quality. Meaningful friendships have formed and we have found it easy to connect with others. We are so thankful for Christ Community Church! I am so glad for this warm and welcoming place of learning and worship. We congregants at Christ Community Leawood are strong community givers led by a most loving and generous God! We yearn to live in a way that being a church for Monday’ is more important than going to church and searching Scriptures merely for ourselves. How do we live? We live as if Jesus Christ literally laid down His life for us to pay the penalty for our sins, which He did! We are a church gathered to be the church scattered every day, everywhere. Come join us. We have many events on the web so you can easily get to know us. I play pickleball indoors most Monday & Thursday nights 5:30-8:00 PM! Check the website! I am so glad I found Christ Community Church - Leawood. My family has found a solid community here and we are very thankful for the children's ministries. The community is full of life, authentic and growing. My wife & I feel very connected and we feel comfortable leaning into our church community here. What's unique here is that the church staff is very engaging with the congregants. They are an excellent team, and they really care about spiritual growth and engagement of the congregants. If you are looking for a church in the Kansas City area, I would highly recommend checking out the 9am or 10:30 service here as well as meet one of the staff members when you visit. I have attended Christ Community for over 30 years. Truth. It is carefully and prayerfully honored and taught. I've always been able to trust that. The sermon teachings are thoughtful, well-researched, and relevant. Excellent women and children’s programming and it’s easy to become involved. Highly recommend visiting.
