At first I find the crucifix a bit odd. I’ve never seen such depiction of our Lord suffering but closely pondering about it; I’ve seen His strength and courage. Despite of what is to come, He bravely endured pain knowing it will benefit all of us who will look up and believe! 🙏 Very beautiful church. I love the holy water well as you walk in the door. It looks like postcard, inside is just so breath taking. Was in the Leawood area from out of state and attended Mass. Everything was terrific. Great church, music, homily…it was all terrific. Great church community. People come into Mass late and Father visits with them at the back of the church, never starts mass on time as we cater to those who can’t make it to mass on time. Kids scream and cry with parents taking no action. Very hard to pray and get your mind right when church seems like you are at a picnic. Why don’t the priests have homilies anymore about common curiosity??? First time attending Mass here. Beautiful Catholic Church and community.
