What visitors say

I'm not sure what the below person is talking about but let me tell you - this church is more than a "church." It's a family and it's the truth. If you're used to services that you can't decipher if it's church or a funeral, then no, this place may not feel right to you. Pastor Kyle teaches straight out of the Bible and is so easy to know and understand. He puts his own life as an example of what God can and does do. He's very humble and LOVES people and God so much. I came from Shreveport, LA where my church was Word of God Ministries with Pastor James preaching. That place was heaven on earth, and I find it a little strange that people said the same about that DIVERSE church that worshipped. New Circle Church is my new church home, and I have full faith that it is the real thing. This coming from a pastor's kid raised in religion. We don't do religion at New Circle - we do God and the relationship with Him. Religion is what put Jesus on the Cross. I know that God will bless us with a building soon so that this church and people can keep "loving people back to life." Ok, I'm gonna be so blunt in this review its not even funny. As a highly confused teenager, I finally feel somewhat understood with the youth group they have. Genuinely, the community is so awesome and so welcoming and accepting. I could go on for HOURS telling you how much this church has done for me, and I haven't even been here for half a freaking year yet. I've been bullied by everyone I know for nearly a year without end, and that still hasn't really stopped, but New Circle has showed me that you actually CAN trust people and God DOES hear you. To be completely frank, I probably wouldn't even be writing this review if I didn't find New Circle. Genuinely, while I was at Arise, my other church, I never felt seen or heard, let alone loved or understood. Then God sent me a dream. The dream went something like this---I was in some dark alley in the pouring rain at night, hoodie soaking wet and sticking to my skin. I could physically feel depression and anxiety gnawing at my conscience and my heart, and a voice from behind the cloud said, "Look up, child. Look past this darkness, squint at the shadows of what's on the other side." I tilted my head up, slowly rotated it to the left---and there, at the end of this alley, in the light of a streetlight, were Kyle and his wife; Jaron, the youth leader; those people who greet you at the doors every morning; teenagers like me...it all seemed so surreal, but one of them threw a paper airplane of notebook paper towards me, and I picked it up. There were smudged words scrawled on the damp paper: "step into the light". And while I had no idea who those people were at the time (I'd never seen them before), turns out that those were actual people who were waiting for me at the church. I apologize for the length of this review, but New Circle is all this and more. If you wanna come, come as you are. You don't need to fix yourself, you don't need to dress up in fancy-shmancy church clothes, and you certainly don't need to feel ashamed because of your race or ethnicity. We all feel lost at some point in our relationship with God. Come to New Circle and Potato will be here waiting for you. If you've read this far, you should probably get off your device and go be productive. God loves you!!!!!!!! But I'm serious. No slacking. Go read your Bibles!! You can feel the love in this church from the moment you walk up to the doors. I’ve visited here with my friend a handful of times. They do a lot to get the service going with coming in on weekends to set things up. They have it in a school building currently until they find their home. For me personally I gave it over the 3 times to see if it was a fit for me but I unfortunately felt it isn’t for me. I feel the messages are great but something is missing here. Not sure if I just feel more like I’m at a concert and motivational speech? It just seems too mainstream and not personable. I had a dream that I was coming to this church and outside the staff was inviting their people to put their hands in bears mouths. And then in my dream I started to recite the verse Proverbs 17:12, which warns that "It is better to meet a bear robbed of her cubs than a fool in his folly," be careful the Lord doesn’t play about his children. The motto for New Circle is Loving people back to life. Sometimes love can bring us to disaster and we are more worried about not hurting the ones we love with the truth and we don’t tell them the full truth. Christ crucified and repentance does not seem to be a priority. I am so blessed worshipping at New Circle Church, I came across New Circle Church at a time when I was looking for a church.I love the team rally, praise & worship, the weekly message, pastor Kyle and Jess, above all- the church family, they are all very loving and welcoming ❤️
